How did I become a passionate health coach, and exactly what is a health coach!
A brief history on me: I’m a mother of two amazing women, a wife of 36 years, a small business mentor and previously a successful software entrepreneur. I wasn’t always living a healthy lifestyle. In fact, until my mid 40’s I wasn’t aware of what “real” food was. I was constantly on a diet, had an awful body image, I was tired and my weigh was a constant battle. Living on diet foods and counting calories, I developed terrible digestive issues, as well as, many other issues. Being a woman, mom & wife there are many emotional or physicals issues I haven’t tackled. My personal journey has lead me to become passionate about helping others change their bodies from the inside out.
I received my training as a Holistic Health Coach Practitioner from the Institute of Integrated Nutrition in New York City. . I studied over 100 dietary theories studied around the world. With individual focuses on practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world's top health and wellness experts. I was introduced to this individualistic approach by top educators from around the globe. At IIN I was fortunate enough to study under the top experts: Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. David Katz, Dr. Walter Willett, and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
Aside from my schooling at IIN, I have spent the last 10 years of my life diving into the world of holistic nutrition, wellness, physical and mental healing. I’ve also received a variety of fitness certifications. I’m excited to spread my knowledge on the ability of our bodies to heal with proper lifestyle and food choices. You will not be put on a “diet”. Diets do not work. Eating Real and Living Real works.
It is caring enough about yourself to live and eat real 90% of the time. Respecting yourself enough to make a change from the inside out. Every BODY is different, and responds differently to food and exercise.
My one on one health coaching allows you to take control of your wellbeing guidance and motivation. We progress at your pace, making small changes that create large improvements in your health and wellbeing
